I have been so busy catching up around here I haven’t managed to tell you how moved and excited we were by the fabulous tour of Jerusalem you designed for us. The boys liked you a lot—such a great rapport you developed with them—and retained all kinds of surprising things to add to their repertoire. I have loved being reminded of what got their attention. We all had so much to learn, knowing so little (just imprecisely remembered Bible stories) from the outset. I appreciated your tuning into us, answering some of the belaboring questions, keeping the pace about right, and offering a variety of perspectives. Highlights may have been The City of David (and all the new related finds), the view from the new synagogue, and of course everything about the underground waterways.
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, bright spirit, and refreshing energy. We’ll always remember you.
