It's always the right time to plan a trip. But is this the right time to come to Israel?
There aren't many organized trips because they take time to plan. However, if you have a family or a few friends (or a group) who want to travel to Israel at the same time, now is a great time to come. The sites are open, but not crowded. Masks are required indoors, but not outside. Restaurants and hotels are open, but require people to be vaccinated, recovered, or do a PCR test before entering. So, it's a fairly safe place to come visit.
There are some limitations on tourism however. Tourists must be no more than 6 months after being vaccinated; a serology test and a PCR test are done at the airport. Tourists must travel in a group of 5 or more people, with a tour guide.
